Portland, July 21st, 2008 - Linagora will settle in the city of Portland (Oregon, USA) from July 21st to 25th, during the not-to-be-missed Open Source Convention (OSCON) organized by O’Reilly. From July 21st to 25th, the French know-how will make a new step for its US expansion: LINAGORA settles in Portland, Oregon, and participates in OSCON (Open Source Convention), an event gathering experts, project managers and users who all share the same passion for Open Source. This year’s event will be enhanced by the attendance of many famous personalities, such as Rasmus Lerdorf (Yahoo!), Chris DiBona and Ben Collins-Sussman (Google).
For LINAGORA, OSCON is a unique opportunity to present OBM, its collaborative email and groupware solution : it will be the topic of a special conference conducted by Project Manager Pierre Baudracco, during which he will announce the new functionalities for the next release of OBM (including Postgres compatibility & a new webmail)
As LINAGORA’s CEO Alexandre ZAPOLSKY states : "The release of OBM solution’s last version and its being available in english have enabled us to incredibly speed up the project. It proves our strong will to expand internationally as well as the interest arising from companies from all over the world. Following the Boston’s Red Hat Summit last June, we were obviously bound to exhibit on OSCON 2008."
